The 2020/21 season is passing with a challenge to Genoa. The Liguria side have only one win in 10 rounds and are in the red lights, three points from safety.
Rolando Maran’s only victory came in the first round, 4–1 against Crotone, who finished bottom of the group without a win. Since that opening win, Genoa have earned only three points from nine league matches. In the previous round, Genoa could almost earn three points against Fiorentina when they rose in the 89th minute. However, the goal a minute later dropped the victory.

On the opposite side, Juventus are the only team unbeaten in Serie A this season alongside AC Milan. However, the Bianconeri’s problem was that they drew too much, leading to only 4th place and six points behind the top team. Three of Juve’s last five games have ended in draws, including a disappointing 1-1 draw against bottom team Crotone.
However, in recent weeks the Serie A champions have had to work hard to play champions league, so it is understandable what caused their downs. Now that everything in the European arena is all right, there is no reason for Pirlo and his students not to focus on Serie A, the league that Old Lady has dominated for years.
In the past, Genoa have done well every time they host Juventus. However, their current form is difficult to stop Juventus, especially as Cristiano Ronaldo is regaining his consistent goalscoring form.
