Despite leading Group H with a huge advantage to qualify for the Knockout Round of the UEFA Champions League, Manchester United will not be subjective until the final round is over. If they beat PSG at home, they will officially win their first ticket to the round of 16, but repeating the feat in Paris a month ago is not an easy challenge for Ole Gunnar Solskjær.
Manchester United’s greatest challenge.
No one can deny Manchester United’s class in the European arena. But their form has always been something very unstable. On a good day, the likes of Marcus Rashford or Paul Pogba could play doping against the league’s runners-up but after just two weeks with the same force, they lost to the anonymous Istanbul side by two goals. Meeting PSG at home would be a chance for Manchester United to qualify early for the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League, but no one is as sure this result will be like the one in Paris a month ago.
The Red Devils’ form as mentioned above is extremely unstable. They’ve just had a hugely hard-fought Premier League win over an opponent who isn’t as strong as Southampton. Edinson Cavani’s header in the final minutes completed the Reds’ emotional back-to-back. The Uruguayan played well with two goals and an assist, directly recoiling three crucial points for Manchester United. Bruno Fernandes was still excellent as usual, Van De Beek had a round-the-shoulder match in his first start.
In fact, Manchester United have always preferred to meet opponents who tend to hold the ball and attack like PSG. They usually arrange two physical midfielders who tend to defend high in the middle of the field. This ensured not to be patted on the face by Neymar’s magical tackles on the PSG side. And this upcoming match is no exception. To win this match, the first thing Manchester United should look forward to is the form of the defence and the excellence of conductor Bruno Fernandes. In addition, Alex Telles or Cavani also names that bring a surge that The Red fans can expect.

They are nine points and three points more than PSG and Leipzig. A draw at home isn’t too bad against a strong opponent like PSG.
Three points over Manchester United, PSG will take a place in the round of 16.
PSG have not started well in the Champions League this season as they have fallen into a difficult game against the likes of Manchester United or RB Leipzig. But in terms of force and form in recent years, it is clear that PSG are more highly valued. They unexpectedly lost to MU at home but Neymar and his team-mates made amends with a win over direct competitor Leipzig in their most recent match.
Unlike Manchester United, the domestic arena as usual is not too big a problem for PSG. So, before this great war, Coach Thomas Tuchel comfortably kept his key cards to ensure the best fitness when marching to England.

Prior to this match, PSG had a not really good run of momentum as they let Bordeaux hold a draw at home in a game where their control of the team was up to 66%. That’s certainly not what PSG looked forward to at Old Trafford. Compared to Manchester United, PSG’s situation forced them to win this match in order to qualify for the round of 16. If they win three points against Manchester United in this match, they will be nine points ahead of Manchester United but may still be in second place due to a difference in difference. The last round only had to face the weakest team in the group, Istanbul watching Manchester United and Leipzig fight for a place in the round of 16.
Obviously, a draw or even a defeat in England would be very disastrous for their ambition to win the UEFA Champions League.
